Amita (a.k.a. Shubhada) has always harbored an ambition to be a teacher. She finds time for total commitment, innovative ideas and endless patience – qualities most vital for teaching deaf children.
Bhakti is our Principal. Children simply love her and vice versa. Every child of her class is special to her. She has limitless patience and has her unique way of holding their attention.
Meena is a quiet and soft-spoken type. She is always at the forefront of our outdoor curricular activities especially the Annual Sports day events.
She has the uncanny knack of bringing the most reticent child out of his or her shell. In 2008-09 Ujwala was given the award for being the best teacher of the year by NASEOH.
Started as a clerk in CSD. Her love for children and teaching made her change her track. She worked as a senior teacher for the deaf for 33 years. After her retirement, CSD was lucky to have her back as a teacher for our Sr. K.G. kids.
Megha takes on most of the new entrants, i.e. toddlers, who join our Marathi nursery and lower KG.
Joined CSD soon after completing her B.Ed. (HI) five years back. She takes 2 batches of toddlers in two shifts. Always surrounded by the tiny tots she appears to be one of them. Always on her toes, singing, dancing and playing.
Her class children are a real challenge. They are toddlers of 2 ½ to 3 years, who come to us with practically zero language and comprehensions. Sarita has risen to the occasion and created a tremendous rapport with the children who are very fond of her.
Vidya has been spearheading and supervising all aspects of the children’s extra-curricular activities for over 1 ½ decades. You only have to step into her “Craft room” to appreciate the infinite patience and care she brings to bear in her work.
Originally she joined us as a “Craft” teacher specializing in teaching handicrafts to deaf children. She now also helps out with the very little Nursery kids in their play activities and auditory training.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Aditi is many roles all bundled together. A fantastic “jack of all trades”, she can tackle many situations however daunting they may be. Her smiling and happy face brings comfort not only to our children’s parents but to most of us at CSED.
Rupal is our Honorary Audiologist and belongs to a rare breed of highly qualified and dedicated audiologists and we are extremely lucky to have her with us. At Cochlear Implant Rehab Centre she is the mainstay.
She joined us as a Volunteer we consider her to be an integral part of our teaching staff. Combined with her teaching capabilities she has infinite patience and a genuine fondness for her children.
A soft spoken, confident person. She handles all the front office functions with great ease and fluidity. A multitasker with the ability to get on with everybody.
An all rounder, she handles accounts, SWD administration, and taxation. She joined 5 years back and became a part of the CSED family in a very short time.
A mother of our ex-student. She is the first person you meet as you enter. She handles the information desk, parents seeking admissions, and is the “Cochlear implants know how” lady.
